October 25, 2008Today's decorating found me on top of the cabinets working on my villages. I was SOOOO excited. Ryan helped me get all of the Village tubs out of the barn, and we got the tops of the cabinets cleaned off and started decorating. I didn't realize just how many villages I had bought this year. I am really glad though, because I'm thrilled with how it is looking so far.
Our kitchen has a ledge above it, perfect for decorating. This ledge also faces into our dining room and our living room. So, below you will see photos from each side. I am being able to do a "town" on each side.
Below are before and after pictures. Please note I am NOT DONE with the villages yet! There are cords showing in some of the pictures, and my "snow" AKA cotton batting is not fixed yet. And yes, there are still more villages to come. Ryan and I just both got worn out though and my feet were hurting from standing up there for so long! lol It has been so much fun today though and I can't wait to get them finished.

Your villages look great! I hope to start putting my Dickens and Little Town of Bethlehem up this week or next.
