December 10, 2008Can you believe it? We got snow tonight, in East Texas! That is really unheard of for us, especially in December! It started sleeting earlier, and when I went out to the barn to get some of my Christmas decorations out, it was snowing big snow flakes! As you can see, it didn't stick a whole lot on the ground, but there is more snow expected tonight, and it sure would be cool to wake up to a white-blanketed yard in the morning!
But, you know how it goes, when you never get snow, you have to run out like some tourist and snap pictures of the snow on the trucks. lol I'm almost ashamed to show my Tahoe, its so dirty! Did I mention we live on a dirt road and I'm lazy and don't wash it near as often as I should? lol The other photo is part of our back deck. The sleet and snow blew in on it so I snapped a picture of the steps too.
