December 16, 2008I finished my Victorian Splendor Tree Sunday night. Originally I had planned to do a 6ft tree in our bedroom sitting room, but this year I ended up doing my 4ft pink tree on our dresser as the Victorian Splendor tree.
I found a beautiful Vintage Tree Skirt (close-ups below) at Goodwill last week and I just had to use it for my skirt. I thought it was so pretty and unique. I was thrilled with it, for $3.99. I didn't know what to use for filler, and I wanted it to be "unique and romantic" since it was Victorian... So I took several roses I had dried over the last year that Ryan had given me, and I put them in different sections of the tree.
